Переводоведение и искусственный интеллект: проблемы, вызовы и риски

Аннотация

в статье рассматривается возможность использования искусственного интеллекта (ИИ) в теории перевода и в прикладном переводоведении, а также представлены предложения по интеграции ИИ в переводческую практику. Использование ИИ способно повысить эффективность перевода и предоставить доступ не владеющих иностранным языком читателям к актуальной информации. Новые открывающиеся возможности ИИ в области перевода заставляют современных лингвистов по-новому взглянуть на такие важные этические вопросы, как роль человека в переводе, точность и культурная приемлемость переводов, а также влияние ИИ на работу современного переводчика. Показано, что переводоведение может сыграть решающую роль в повышении точности перевода с использованием ИИ, «культурно адаптируя» системы ИИ для разных языковых пар. Используя опыт переводоведения, лингвисты, разработчики и исследователи ИИ могут повысить производительность систем перевода на основе ИИ, что в конечном итоге улучшит качество переводного текста за счет учета ценных сведений о культурных нюансах, контексте и смыслах исходного текста.
