Abstract

any state is interested in a healthy population. This is especially true for the younger generation, since young people are the future of the country. Opinion polls, according to INTERFAX, indicate that respondents aged 18 to 24 years recognize their lifestyle as unhealthy. Objectively assess the physical condition of the body, which is one of the indicators of health, by identifying the level of physical fitness. But when assessing physical fitness, researchers often do not take into account the fact that sobriety is the foundation of health. If a student poisons his body with alcohol, tobacco and other intoxicants, the level of general health and physical fitness decreases, and, consequently, the level of performance. The purpose of our study was to identify the correlation between the presence of sobriety/sobriety and physical fitness of students of Industrial University of Tyumen, assigned to the main medical group. Using the methods of questionnaires and biomedical control tests (tests), the authors obtained results that allow us to conclude that the lack of sobriety negatively affects the physical fitness of the student. In connection with the revealed results of the study, the authors consider it relevant to introduce a block of knowledge about the theory of sobriety into educational programs, mandatory conduct of Sobriety lessons that form a sober worldview among students.
