Abstract
The article discusses the legal regulation of ensuring the right to freedom of conscience and freedom of religion. The author reflects the possible boundaries of the subject of legal regulation, indicates the complexity of social processes in this area. The author reflects the mechanism of legal regulation of ensuring the right to freedom of conscience and freedom of religion, defines the place of administrative and legal regulation of this sphere and its content. The article reflects the role of enabling legislation in the mechanism of legal regulation of freedom of conscience and freedom of religion.
