Chinese Modern Science Fiction Literature: Translation and Acceptance in Russia

The subject of the study covers the process of translation and distribution of Chinese science fiction literature in the Russian book market. The main attention is focused on the peculiarities of cultural and literary interaction between Russia and China. The study analyzes the methods and strategies used in the translation process, examines their effectiveness and identifies potential problems. The novelty of the research lies in the multifaceted analysis of the interaction of Chinese and Russian literary traditions, the consideration of the evolution of the perception of Chinese fiction from the beginning of the XX century to the present, and the identification of key factors determining the successful promotion of Chinese science fiction literature on the Russian market.
