To the question of English borrowings in the economical sphere in the Russian and Spanish languages

In the era of globalization and active international cooperation, especially in the economic sphere, the role of English as a "lingua franca" is growing. This leads to the intensive penetration of English borrowings into other languages, including Russian and Spanish. Features of English borrowings in Russian and Spanish (Ecuadorian version) in modern texts of economic discourse are updated. The subject of the study is the most common English borrowings in Russian and Spanish, identified in international documents on the websites of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ecuador by frequency analysis of 100 documents of an economic nature. Borrowing data were studied in terms of etymology and functioning in official documents, which made it possible to analyze the use of English borrowings through semantic and pragmatic aspects. The key methods were descriptive and comparative analyzes, with the help of which the description of the corresponding English borrowings and comparison were carried out. The scientific novelty of the study is that in it, on the material of the texts of economic discourse, an analysis of the English borrowings in Russian and Spanish was carried out on the example of international economic texts. It is concluded that the peculiarities of English borrowings in the texts of economic discourse in Russian and Spanish are inextricably linked with its pragmatic component formed by extralinguistic factors. In Spanish, English borrowings are used in cases where it is impossible to select the Spanish equivalent, while in Russian the same English borrowings are used with wider meaning. The increase in the volume of English borrowings in Russian and Spanish within the framework of economic discourse appeals to technological progress in the world and the dominance of English-speaking realities.
