Abstract
In the article approaches of various economic schools to definition of concept of an economic category «financial maintenance» are investigated, and also interrelations of this category and other financial categories are established. On the basis of the research the concept «financial maintenance» is specified and the concept «financial maintenance of material base» is certain.
