The review highlights the results of the debates on Convulsions in the Middle East which were dedicated to the disturbances in the Middle East and the North Africa. The speakers' reports are analyzed and their main arguments on the problems are concerned. The problems of shaping the new national consciousness and toughening the social demands are analyzed and also the economic conditions of the concerned countries are described separately from the social factors.
