Article is dedicated to the activity of the state finance control authorities and its importance at the overcoming of the crisis effects in Russia. There is analysis of the role of control efforts at the realization of anti crisis state programs. Key directions of the control and modernization development are analyzed. The author pays great attention to the questions of the organization of social-economic position monitoring and the auditing the effectiveness at the terms of crisis.
