The actuality of the problem and main forms of the organization of medical and social care to the old patients and handicapped persons

Resumo

The growth of the old people's population is the reason for the increasing of requirement for the medical and social care and the financial resources. So, it is necessary to find a new organizational forms of rendering of such care. Author analyses the structure of medical and social care to the old people and its new forms as exemplified by one district of Saint-Petersburg. Special attention is paid to such forms, which permit to integrate the medical and the social services (the geriatric social - rehabilitation department, multidisciplinary team for the patients with strike and so on).
