Abstract
In 1934 Finder announced about 25 cases of discoid external intraarticuler cartilages of genus. Normally the menisci have a mesodermal development and differentiate from mesenchimal cells. In the aetiology of discoid meniscus are presented several theories. Discoid meniscus can be a disturbtion purpose for the patient. The frequency of discoid meniscus if high in the Asia. In some cases needs the operative treatment of discoid meniscus.
