Realizm - Postmodernism in Russun literature yesterday and today
Аннотация
The article discusses the basic processes of the modern Russian literature. The author examines social and historical circumstances that determined the main characteristics and practices of Russian postmodernism. The author provides the reasons for realistic literature success in recent years. The author looks back to the Russian literature tradition, summarizes the discussions on its transformation in contemporary literature. The article is mainly focused on the books, which came out in the last three years.

Stalin in Vasilii Grossman’s prose
Аннотация
In his prose Vasilii Grossman offers a unique interpretation of Stalin’s image. In the main Grossman’s novel ‘Life and Fate’ Stalin’s image has got no psychological depth. His is a function of totalitarian state, a living incarnation of state power. His behavior is a behavior of state, and it affects millions of people.

Faustian theme in the story by T. Tolstaya “Cleen Sheet” (Chistiy List”) in the light of the intertextual approach
Аннотация
Through an intertextual approach this article presents an analysis of Faustian theme in T. Tolstaya’s story “Cleen Sheet” (“Chistiy List”). Deep links of the text under analysis are identified with preceding literary pre-texts. Recognizable symbolic models (from literature, myths, fairy tales and the Bible) are tracked as being engaged into the intertextual field of the story to reach new objectives of the author. The article illustrates the game character of the “Cleen Sheet” story’s artistic world, through which the author rethinks the philosophical and moral problems of the Faust character.

Characters surnames derived from the Latin roots in the A.N. Ostrovosky’s plays
Аннотация
In Ostrovsky’s plays only two characters carry the last names derived from Latin roots, both of them being those artificial surnames given to seminary graduates. One of them - Benevolensky - was widely spread, Ostrovsky knew one person named Benevolensky, Pyotr Mironovich apparently was the prototype for the character of ‘The Poor Bride’ , they both graduated from the seminary, they were both officials in the court. The surname Negligentov was found only among pseudonyms. N.A. Dobrolyubov wrote one of his early articles under this name. There is no evidence that Ostrovsky knew something about this article as there is nothing in common between the article and the play. Dobrolyubov who had mentioned Negligentov in his critical articles twice apparently did not see this character as a parody of himself. These surnames are carried by the characters in the early Ostrovsky’s plays (‘The Poor Bride’ , 1851, ‘A Protégée of the Mistress’ , 1858), later on all family names were derived from the Russian words, mostly the dialectal ones.

Romanticism against Romanticism: the discursive paradox in the poetry of Timyr Kibirov
Аннотация
The article describes the features of romantic poetry by famous Russian postmodernist poet Timyr Kibirov. The author notes that the poet speaks against romanticism, but at the same time the author argues that Timyr Kibirov - a romantic poet. A similar paradox can be found in the works of another Russian romantic poet of the nineteenth century, V.K. Kuchelbecker.

The terms “Gothic” and “Neogothic” in the context of Literary History
Аннотация
The article deals with the problem of Gothic style in Western literature. The main part of the text is devoted to the issues of its origin and cultural background, the origin of the term itself and its application to fiction, the main stages of the classical Gothic novel and the rise of the Neo-gothic tradition. The main points of the article are illustrated by the examples from most typical Gothic texts, from Walpole’s ‘Otranto’ to Lewis’s ‘The Monk’, alongside with the crucial aesthetic and philosophical ideas of the period, the concept of the Sublime, developed by Burke, included. The article also touches upon the problems of academic studies of the Gothic literature and its reception by undergraduate audience.

Various aspects of realization of the plot “liberation from the oppressors” in russian fairytale drama of 1920-1940’s (on the example of the plays “Dragon” by E.L. Shvarts, “Three Fat Men” by Yu.K. Olesha and “The Town of Masters, or The Tale about Two Humpbacks” by T.G. Gabbe)
Аннотация
In this paper on the example of three plays written in 1920-40s., the features of realization of the motive of “liberation from the oppressors” widely used in Russian Soviet literature for children is discussed. Such aspects of the realization of this plot as the nature of dramatic conflict, system of characters, methods of creating characters and means of representation of heroes, means of manifestation of the psychology of characters, particular means of expression, the style of these dramatic tales are analyzed. The play “Three Fat Men” is distinguished by its atmosphere of the circus and eccentrics. In the dramatic tale “Dragon”, one can see deep psychology in creating characters. Some one-sidedness in characters of the play “The Town of Masters, or The Tale about Two Humpbacks” is compensated by their great satiric potential, created with the support of traditional comic techniques.

Synthes of Persian and Indian traditions in Khuskhal-khan Khattak’s «qasida about women types» (to the subject of ‘young’ Medieval Literature origin specifics)
Аннотация
This article analyses a poem, composed by the founder of national Afghani literature Khuskhal-khan Khattak, which represents a remake of traditional Indian love treatises and combines features of surrounding Persian and Indian traditions. The qasidah, telling how to make the right choice of life partner, becomes another chapter of ‘life encyclopedia’ that the author was creating throughout his whole literary work. Carefully selecting and modifying classical material, Khuskhal-khan integrates it with his own observations, subjects it to his literary aims and thus in the end creates a unique piece. The poem composed in accordance with such way of working reflects the specifics of ‘young’ Medieval literature emergence process.

“Little person” of the Don Aminado in the mirror of the short parody-story
Аннотация
The article is devoted to the representation of «little person» and its distinctive features in short parody-stories of the Don Aminado. The main history developmental milestones of this genre and its evolution are briefly indicated, from buffoonery to literary parody of 20 th century. In particular, the intextuality is considered as a key element for most parodies of the Don Aminado. The methods that form comic on the levels of composition, style of speaking and language are explored. The lingual game becomes the very frequent language feature. On the speech level comic is implemented through the reminiscence and allusion. Intentional part is represented with parodies on different genres by force of correspondence unity between plot structure, character arrangement, platitudes. According to the derided genre the interaction of text and proto-text is regarded in detail.

The formation and literary and political program of the journal «Druzhba Narodov» in the 1920-1950’s
Аннотация
Article dedicated to the creation and establishment of the literary and artistic «thick» journal «Druzhba narodov» in the period from 1928 to 1955. The evolution of the almanac in the periodical, the emergence in its pages the basic principles of multi-ethnicity of the literary process in the USSR and consolidation around the publication of talented translators, including Boris Pasternak, N. Z, Andrei Tarkovsky, P. Antokolsky, S. Lipkin, N. Grebnev, J. Kozlowski et al. analyzed the literary and political agenda almanac, expressed the commitment of the official exchange rate of the State and the canons of socialist realism.

City under siege - analysis of M. Bulgakov’s short novel “The Fatal Eggs”
Аннотация
This article is devoted to analysis of Moscow’s image, created by M. Bulgakov in his short novel “The Fatal Eggs”. Time, space and characters depict historical and social realities of Moscow in the 1920s. For ten years Moscow lives two full life cycles, consisting of three main stages: breakdown caused by the events of the revolution and the civil war, post-war reconstruction and rapid flowering. In “The Fatal Eggs” the urban space is localized in two major topographical centers where the main events take place. Mystical aura (evil spirit) fills the description of narration and characters. Bulgakov’s fiction foretells the future and serves as a warning of disaster.

To the question about the stages of communicative competence of participants in the information-analytical programs
Аннотация
The article examines communication competence level of participants in TV talk show broadcasts of the federal channels at the beginning of 2014. It explains the concept of the notion introduced by the german philosopher J.Khabermas, gives levels` classification which to a large extent explains behavior of participants and complications a moderator faces in the course of discussion. Typical mistakes of the side of moderators are analyzed and explained.

Humanism and principles of a journalist in modern conditions of world geopolitical reconstruction
Аннотация
The moral and ethical component of journalism in coveringarmed conflicts in particular such an important moral aspect of the journalistic profession as fidelity to the principles of humanism, internationalism and there presentation of the interests of the people is examined in the article. In the context of growing international tensions journalism has a tremendousimpacton the public conscience, creates political and social views. Many graduates of the journalism departments will be faced with the problem of military confrontation coverage in their practice, so the practical guidelines developing for journalists are a relevant and strategically important problem. In this context we cannot allow the mediabiasleading to the total information war.

Аннотация
The authors consider such a new and important phenomenon today as New Media, citizen journalism and crowdsourcing. The authors emphasize the advantageous features of the new media, unlike the traditional ones. The article presents statistical data to support the introduction of the Internet in the modern society’s life. Uniqueness and innovativeness article is that the author considers the genre of investigative journalism as a new Internet trends. The authors theorize about how crowdsourcing can be used as a tool for citizen journalism.

The concept of “information space”: different approaches to its study and features
Аннотация
The study object in this article is the notion of ‘information space’ and scientific approaches to its research. On the basis of submitted sources the author identifies the main components of the information space. The author continues the study of the concept with highlighting a segment of the Russian information space. The current state of the Russian media market is being assessed and the key communicational channels are classified with specific examples. A conclusion is made on the changes that had occurred in the structure of the information space.
