Abstract

Inflammatory diseases of the paranasal sinuses is the most common chronic pathology of ENT organs in all age groups. Among patients who were treated in ENT wards, from 15 to 36% are patients with diseases of the paranasal sinuses. In outpatient practice, the proportion of patients with sinusitis is approximately the same. Acute sinusitis is one of the most common diseases faced by primary health care doctors.
