Abstract

Проблема профилактики инсульта имеет не только медицинское, но и важнейшее социальное значение, так как инсульт во многих странах представляет 3-ю по частоте причину смертности и 1-ю по частоте причину инвалидности людей среднего и пожилого возраста [1–3, 11, 23]. В России заболеваемость инсультом и смертность от него остаются одними из самых высоких в мире: ежегодно в нашей стране регистрируется около 400 000 инсультов, среди которых чаще (70–85%) встречаются ишемические [1, 2]. Вероятность повторного инсульта увеличивается более чем в девять раз у лиц, перенесших инсульт или транзиторную ишемическую атаку (ТИА), поэтому профилактика инсульта наиболее актуальна в этой группе населения. Профилактика повторного ишемического инсульта (ИИ) должна начинаться как можно скорее после развития первого инсульта или ТИА. Она основывается на коррекции факторов его риска и включает как лекарственные, так и нелекарственные методы.
