The Journal was established in 2008 and the name of the Journal has not changed. The composition of the Editorial board was changed in 2022 due to re-registration in the Higher Attestation Commission and inclusion in the list of leading Russian peer-reviewed scientific journals and publications recommended by the Higher Attestation Commission of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia for the publication of the main scientific results of dissertations for the degree of Doctor and Candidate of Sciences in the field of "Jurisprudence" in five scientific legal areas (theory of law, public law, private law, criminal law, international law).
