ETHICAL PROBLEMS OF INTERACTIONS BETWEEN DOCTORS OF DIFFERENT PROFILES AND PATIENTS IN THE FIGHT AGAINST DIABETES MELLITUS

Abstract

The article highlights the works of the Roundtable on problems of management of diabetes mellitus patients. Emphasis is laid on the need for closer links dentists who can be the first to notice the diabetes signs in patients, and endocrinologists and physicians. The results of the Roundtable were the recommendations on creation of electronic database of diabetes mellitus patients; regular interaction at the level of the Advisory Councils of doctors of different profiles, and suggestions to improve the patients’ compliance.
