Abstract
Obesity is a biopsychosocial problem which can hardly be hidden. It is considered to be a chronic and relapsing condition which requires long-term, most often life-time treatment which aims to reduce body weight, improve the quality of life and increase the patient’s life span. The article discusses some ethical aspects of the relationship between the endocrinologist and patients with obesity which is particularly essential in the era of obesity pandemic.
