Abstract

The paper presents a mathematical model of the dynamics of polydisperse aerosol, taking into account the interfacial interaction and interfacial heat transfer. The carrier medium is modeled as a viscous compressible heat-conducting gas. The dispersed phase is assumed to consist of several fractions. The mathematical model allows one to describe the fragmentation of dispersed inclusions in a multiphase flow. The results of numerical calculations of the propagation of a shock wave from a pure gas into an aerosol are given.
