Abstract
On the basis of the presented mathematical model of a bubbly liquid, the interaction of acoustic waves with a bubbly layer is investigated. The gas bubble volume fraction in the layer varies in the direction of wave propagation and is described by a continuous function. A method is proposed for calculating the reflection and transmission coefficients of acoustic waves by dividing a bubbly layer into sublayers with a constant value of the bubble volume fraction.
