Abstract
Determining the orientation of the occlusal plane during orthodontic treatment is the most difficult to solve clinical challenge. However, it is also important enough, because this orientation in the future will have a direct impact on the function of the TMJ and muscle components. In this research we explored 111 patients with orthognathic occlusion dentition followed by cephalometric analysis of occlusal plane orientation and comparison of previously proposed calculations to determine the location of Kampers line and HIP - plane that are parallel to the occlusal plane.
