An analysis of defects of primary dental prosthetic repair with fixed constructions in dental clinics of Rostov region, and optimization of the tactics of repeated prosthetic repair

Abstract

Cases of defective dental prosthetic repair with fixed constructions followed by repeated prosthetic repair were analyzed to develop measures to optimize the tactics of repeated prosthetics. The main causes of defects of primary prosthetic repair with fixed constructions were unsatisfactory oral cavity preparation, unreasonableness of the use of fixed prosthetic constructions, absence of taking into account the condition of abutment teeth and power interrelations between dentures before installing long dental bridges, unsatisfactory modeling of prosthetic facing, and construction errors with incomplete closure.
