David A. Entin: outstanding organizer of Russian dentistry

Abstract

This article reveals the scientific legacy of the outstanding organizer of Russian dentistry, the long-term head of the Department of Dentistry (since 1942, the Department of Maxillofacial Surgery with Dentistry), Military Medical Academy, chief dentist of the Red Army during the Great Patriotic War, and Major General of the Medical Service David Abramovich Entin. The current status of the publication activity of Prof. Entin in electronic citation and analytical databases has been studied. The characteristic of the scientific school of national military dentistry founded by him is provided. Previously unpublished images related to the life of Prof. Entin are presented.
