In January 1999, the Scientific Council of the Military medical Academy named after S. M. Kirov decided to organize a scientific and practical publication in the form of a journal at the Academy. Organization of preparation of constituent documents, registration of the journal, its preparation for the release of the Scientific Council instructed the head of the NIL immunology Professor VN. A Gypsy appointed by the Executive Secretary of the journal. In fact, it was about the resumption of the publication of the journal "news of the Military medical Academy", the issue of which was discontinued immediately after the October revolution of 1917. After long discussions the journal was named "Bulletin of the Russian Military medical Academy" and became the main scientific publication of the Academy.
