详细

The strength of the construction of modern machines and their sensitivity to overloads has substantially increased with the growth in the unit power of turbogenerators and the rate at which their active materials are utilized. Control services strictly take into account the need to assure the operation of equipment in regimes that are admissible for the equipment when calculating the future daily operating regimes of power systems. However, the strict limitation on the duration of overloads in emergencies is generally not taken into account. This leads to an unavoidable disengagement of the generators from protection designed to prevent damage to the generators and the serious development of system failure. The most typical causes of inadmissible overloads are considered and preventive measures designed to avoid these overloads are recommended.
