Abstract

The physical causes of the radial vibration of the stator core of a two-pole turbogenerator are considered. Their relationship, influence on the vibration of the core, and dependence on the operating conditions of the turbogenerator are shown. The principles and practice of using vibration parameters for monitoring the condition of stators are described and justified.
