Abstract
Experience with the burning of coals from the Kansk-Achinsk Basin in a P-49 boiler with different burner and furnace configurations is examined. Problems in running the boiler with liquid slag removal are noted. Some studies of boiler operation with low-temperature vortex coal firing following technical renovation are discussed.
