Clinical efficiency of Zineryt lotion and its effect on the quality of life of adolescents with mild and medium severe acne

Abstract

Modern literature on the pathogenesis of acne is reviewed. The role of Propionbacterium acnes in stimulation and maintenance of immunological mechanisms of disease emergence and maintenance is emphasized. The effects of acne on the mental status and quality of life of patients of different age were studied. The effects of acne and Zineryt lotion therapy on the mental status and the relevant quality of life of the youngest and most vulnerable patients were evaluated within the framework of a SPOTLESS multicenter prospective observation program, aimed at evaluating the clinical efficiency of Zinerit lotion and its effects on the quality of life of adolescents with mild and medium severe acne. The treatment efficiency was evaluated by the time course of inflammation elements and by the effects of acne and therapy on the patients ’ quality of life.
