The effect of topical tacrolimus ointment on the morphological and cutaneous changes in patients with localized psoriasis was studied by noninvasive diagnostic methods (laser confocal microscopy, laser Doppler flowmetry). The results confirmed the efficiency of topical tacrolimus ointment, comparable to that of corticosteroids.
