Effect of the Nature of the Binder on the Formation Temperature of Glass-Ceramic Coatings Based on Si–B–ZrB2 for Graphite Protection

This work is devoted to fabricating and studying the properties of coatings based on the Si–B–ZrB₂ systems used in graphite protection. The kinetics of the oxidation of graphite with coatings at different temperatures in air are investigated. The optimal conditions for the thermal treatment of the material with the coating are suggested.
