Domestication of monetary policy
Abstract
The article touches upon the issue of the independence of monetary policy, the impossible trinity, and the exchange-rate policy. It has been shown that independent monetary policy is possible and estimates of the limits of its independency have been given.

Government bond market: Potential for establishing a system of primary dealers in Russia based on relevant world experience
Abstract
The paper considers a potential improvement in the stability of the Russian government bond market by establishing a system of primary dealers. The existing world models of primary dealership are identified and their relations with national market peculiarities are determined based on the analysis of statistics and regulatory documents of 22 countries. The revealed regularities allow the authors to propose a private dealership model adapted to the specifics of the domestic economy.
Bankruptcy-prediction models for Russian enterprises: Specific sector-related characteristics
Abstract
Analyzing the accounting reports of 8573 Russian companies, the article determined the threshold values of the indicators for known foreign and domestic bankruptcy probability models for ten sectors of the economy. The developed a ten-factor bankruptcy model is based on sector-specific threshold values and has a relatively high predictive power for the majority of sectors.
Corporation for development as a tool to attract foreign investment
Abstract
The paper examines the characteristics of one of the key institutions of the investment policy—the agency for attracting investments, in particular its functions. We have found that the existence of this institution positively affects on the number of projects with the participation of foreign investors in the Russian regions.

The use of regression models to forecast passenger air travel indices
Abstract
The matters of developing passenger carriers for air transport are touched on in the article, and indices for the last 15 years have been analyzed. Regression models have been used to forecast the indices of the passenger air travels. The obtained results prove a fairly high approximation in the dependence between the GDP per capita and indices of the carrying operation of the passenger air transport.

The role of foreign capital in the economies of regions of Russia: Possibilities of assessments and interregional differences
Abstract
The article deals with methodological approaches to assessing the role of foreign capital in regional economy. Interregional differences in the structure of organizations with foreign capital by countries are analyzed, including the scale and factors of regional differentiation by the role of the organizations with Cypriot capital. The dependence of regions on the activities of organizations with foreign capital by the indicators of employment, organizations’ turnover, and fixed capital investments have been assessed.
System-dynamic model of regional economy: The case of Rostov oblast
Abstract
This article presents a method of simulation modeling that is broadly used in regional process studies. Based on this model, we have developed a system of supporting decision-making intended for regional development. Potential development scenarios for the Rostov oblast have been elaborated using statistical data about the region.
State support for the modernization of the individual family sector of the rural economy (Based on the Example of the Republic of Bashkortostan)
Abstract
This article analyzes the current state, problems, and prospects of the development of individualfamily sector of the rural economy in the Russian Federation by the example of the Republic of Bashkortostan. The purpose of this article is to give a generalized overview of the measures adopted and implemented by the state for the years of reforms and their results, to identify the barriers and obstacles to the modernization of individual-family households, to justify a series of measures to overcome them, and to make the state support more consistent and systematic.

Change in basic ownership model in Russian big business
Abstract
The article covers the scale and dynamics of changes in the model of ownership in Russian big companies in 2007–2014. In brief these changes can be described as the shift from sole ownership to the coalition of shareholders. Analysis of empirical data demonstrates that this shift started in the prosperous mid 2000-ties and continued both in crisis and post crisis periods.

Abstract
This article provides an evaluation of the efficiency of special economic zones in Russia for the 10 years since their establishment. An analysis of the possible courses of their development has been given. Approaches to models of SEZ administration and financing have been reconsidered.

Russian enterprises at the end of 2015: Anti-crisis activities and assessment of the impact of mutual Economic sanctions of the west and Russia
Abstract
The results of a survey of enterprises conducted by the Institute of Economic Forecasting of the Russian Academy of Sciences are analyzed and commented on. Answers of enterprises to the questions about the methods used by them to adapt to the crisis are given. The behavior of enterprises during the current crisis and the crisis of 2008–2009 has been compared. The opinions of Russian enterprises on the change in the tax burden in recent years and on the situation with tax evasion are presented. Estimates of Russian enterprises about how their activities have been affected by mutual sanctions of the West and Russia have been provided. Estimates of Russian enterprises about the need to produce modernization are considered. Information on the modern nature of business collaboration with banks and on the recruitment needs of enterprises has been given.
