Abstract
Abstract—Recommendations for expanding the applicability of tool materials in the discontinuous turning of complex parts and heterogeneous subassemblies are developed on the basis of the requirements on three modules that constitute the cutting tool: the tool module, the adjustment module, and the damping module.
