Abstract

The main difficulties in identifying transient processes in synchronous machines have to do with identifying the transient component. Studies aimed at identifying this component can be made much less labor-intensive by reducing the random feature sample in size, taking into account the core of effective point samples around the lower boundary of its study range, and also by minimizing the size of effective point samples by the core, including a reliability estimate by Poisson’s distribution for deriving combinatorial expressions to identify the transient component.
