Abstract
The use of natural rubber, phenol, polyvinyl alcohol, and water-soluble melamine–formaldehyde resin as antioxidants for Donetsk Basin Zh and K coal proves highly effective. With increase in grain size of the coal, its oxidation rate falls. Similar experiments should be conducted on an industrial scale.
