Protection of Water Resources in Coke-Plant Design

Abstract—Water resources may be protected from wastewater pollution by the creation of zero-discharge water-supply systems—that is, by the treatment of wastewater and its use within the plant. The basic measures used in switching to zero-discharge water-supply systems are outlined.
