Abstract
A comprehensive model of the HTSC ring magnet is developed. Magnetic and transport characteristics of commercialHTSCtapes are used in calculations, features of their layered structure are taken into account. The magnetic system parameters in external magnetic fields of various configurations are calculated. Magnetic fields, currents, magnetization, and levitation force are calculated for various geometrical parameters of magnetized rings.
