Abstract
The numerical solution to optical Bloch equations for the transition Fg = 4 ⇒ Fe = 5 with a wavelength of 410.6 nmin the thulium atom is presented. The absorption spectrum saturation and narrowing effects due to optical pumping are considered in detail.
