Abstract
Possible designs of a terahertz laser that use the effect of Bloch oscillations in SiC natural superlattices have been considered. It has been proposed to use as a resonator the SiC crystal itself on which the active layer was grown. The sizes of resonators for strip and whispering gallery mode lasers have been calculated. The advantages of a resonator with whispering gallery modes have been shown.
