The Friction Coefficient of Natural Diamond Against Materials Based on Cubic Boron Nitride

Abstract

It is demonstrated that in friction of a diamond pyramid against specimens of BN-based superhard materials the phase composition of the materials in contact has a dominant effect on the friction coefficient.
