Abstract

The application of mathematical modeling in the development of a procedure for gamma-spectrometric monitoring of fuel pins with uranium plutonium fuel is described. The EffMaker software system was used for modeling the spectra. As a result, a measurement system and measurement geometry and time were picked and the sensitivity of the procedure to a change in the characteristics of the object was evaluated, which greatly reduced the required number of subsequent physical experiments.
