A Fore-Vacuum Plasma Electron Source of a Focused Electron Beam

Abstract

The design and characteristics of a functioning fore-vacuum plasma source for generating a focused electron beam at pressures of up to 30 Pa, energies of up to 30 keV, and a beam power density in a crossover on the order of 106 W/cm2 are described, along with features of its operation.
