Block Structure and Macroresponces of Perovskite Media in a Sodium–Calcium Niobate System

Abstract

The block structure of Na1 – xCaxNbO3 (0.0 ≤ x ≤ 0.20) solid solutions formed by the crystallographic shear planes is studied via powder X-ray diffraction. A correlation between the block sizes and the dielectric properties of the samples is established as well.
