Abstract

The block structure of Na_1 – _xCa_xNbO₃ (0.0 ≤ x ≤ 0.20) solid solutions formed by the crystallographic shear planes is studied via powder X-ray diffraction. A correlation between the block sizes and the dielectric properties of the samples is established as well.
