Abstract
The possibilities are considered of measuring the induced activity of short-lived radioisotopes 12N (T1/2 ≅ 11.0 ms) and 12B (T1/2 ≅ 20.2 ms) produced in objects of study when they are irradiated with brief beam pulses of an electron accelerator in time intervals between such pulses. To solve the problem, the switching method is applied before and after each beam pulse for power supplies of photoelectron multiplier dividers on the scintillation detectors used to detect particles emitting from these objects at the decay of produced 12N and 12B.
