Designing the Structure of Photonic Crystal Fibers for the Generation of Broadband Single Photon States

Abstract

Structures of photonic crystal fibers are proposed for the generation of broadband single photon states using the process of spontaneous four-wave mixing. New types of structures are modeled mathematically. The spectral and correlation characteristics of the generated states are calculated.
