Nanodefects on Microcrystals of YAG-Based Phosphors

Abstract

A model of the energy structure of a YAG phosphor microcrystal with nanodefects is presented. A nanodefect is a complex containing all of the elements of a crystal and characteristic defects embedded during synthesis in order to compensate for the differences between charges and elastic stresses.
