Features of interatomic dipole–dipole interaction within an ensemble of impurity atoms embedded in a transparent dielectric and inserted into a Fabry–Perot cavity are investigated. The effect an electrostatic field has on the cooperative characteristics of the atomic ensemble is analyzed.
