Abstract

The results are presented from field measurements of the wind and wave parameters of a medium-sized inland basin. It is shown that the asymptotics of spectra of young waves correspond to the Philips saturation spectrum. The saturation constants are determined and a parametrization of its correlation with wave age is proposed.
