Abstract
The effectiveness of photoacoustic diagnosis in studying ultrashort laser pulse propagation in different media is considered on the basis of results from laboratory experiments on recording acoustic emissions induced by terawatt femtosecond laser pulses affecting aerosols, individual droplets, and air.
