The spectra of local minima in spin-glass models
Аннотация
The spectra of spin models have been investigated in computation experiments. For the Sherrington-Kirkpatrick and Edwards-Anderson models we have determined the basic spectral characteristics: the average depth of a local minimum, the spectrum width, the depth of the global minimum. The experimental data are used to build the relations between these quantities and the model dimensionality N and find their asymptotic values for N→ ∞.



Adaptive methods of solving inverse problems for improvement of fidelity of molecular DNA computations
Аннотация
Elaboration of methods of monitoring of biochemical reactions with DNA strands is necessary to solve one of the main problems in creation of biocomputers—improvement of fidelity of molecular DNA computations. In this paper, the results of solution of inverse two-parameter problems of laser Raman spectroscopy on determination of the types and concentration of DNA nitrogenous bases in multicomponent solutions are presented. Comparative analysis of the three used methods of solving these problems has demonstrated convincing advantages of artificial neural networks and of the method of projection to latent structures. Use of adaptive methods allowed achieving the accuracy of determining the concentration of each base in two-component solutions about 0.2–0.4 g/L.



Application of photonic-crystal coupled cavities for increase in sensitivity of optical sensor
Аннотация
We suggested and analyzed numerically the possibility to double the sensitivity of the optical resonant sensor. To illustrate the suggested approach we calculated the parameters of the sensors based on one and two photonic-crystal coupled cavities. The correspondence between the analytical modelling and numerical simulations was demonstrated. We estimated the allowances for instrumental errors acceptable when manufacturing the suggested device based on the photonic-crystal coupled cavities. We showed the reasons leading to a decrease of the Q-factor of the resonant system consisting of two cavities due to manufacturing errors. The resources of compensation of the errors arising when manufacturing the proposed device were analyzed.



Method for compression of optical observation data based on analysis of differential structure
Аннотация
A method for compression of high-contrast images based on analysis of their differential structures is suggested. The concept of the method, software implementation and additional factors that increase the efficiency of the method are considered. The compression method is applicable to static and dynamic (video) images obtained, in particular, by optical sensors. The principles of compression we propose allow one to create multi-threaded computing solutions at both the hardware-software and hardware levels. The degree of image compression based on differential structure analysis is comparable to the JPEG compression degree, but the image quality is higher by numerical criteria (MSE, PSNR, SNR). The method requires a relatively small number of operations for compression, which reduces the processing load, and can be successfully used at spacecrafts for obtaining and transmitting images.



A new type of polarimetric photodetectors for analyzing of laser radiation in optical communication lines
Аннотация
A photovoltaic effect has been discovered at a contact between a semiconductor and biological origin materials. Photoelectrical properties of the new type structures have been investigated. Structures consisting of a semiconductor and materials of biological origin can be used as photovoltaic converters for natural and linearly polarized light. It needs for information transmission over distances, as well as for analysis of the polarization state of the laser radiation in communication systems.



The influence of the silicon dioxide barrier films on the laser ablation destruction of the glass composites with the films drown from the sols
Аннотация
The laser ablation destruction of the composites with nano dimensional oxide one- or two-layers films drown from the sols on a glass substrate has been studied. It has been shown that the laser ablation destruction threshold energy density depends on the number and chemical composition of the layers and the drawing velocity. The ablation threshold energy density of the two-layer composites finds out mainly a tendency to decrease at the 3.8 mm/s drawing velocity, but at the 5.8 mm/s one—to increase that can be explained by the films thickness decreasing and the low-melting components from the glass substrate diffusion due to the barrier films diminishing.



Electrooptical Fourier-processor for microobjects investigation
Аннотация
This work is devoted to creation and research of the multichannel optical processor allowing us to carry out the diffractometric and polarimetric analysis for assessment of optiko-physical properties as biological microobjects and is exemplary optically transparent randomly inhomogeneous medium.
