Abstract
This paper describes the method of the direct linearization of mixed nonlinear forces, which is used to analyze nonlinear oscillatory systems. This method has been compared with other methods in order to demonstrate their resemblance in terms of the practical results. In contrast to well-known methods of nonlinear system analysis, direct linearization methods allow computational cost (time and effort) to be reduced by several orders, which considerably increases their effectiveness.
