Domestic legislation is familiar with the concept of genodiagnostics, however, the most important issues related to its conduct (about permitted and prohibited to conduct varieties of genodiagnosis, guarantees of non-discrimination and confi dentiality following this procedure, about the fate of genetic samples remaining after it) remain unresolved. Within the framework of this article, the author examines examples of the normative regulation of the issues mentioned in foreign countries, suggesting that foreign experience should be used wisely.
