Photopurification of Aquatic Media by Heterogeneous Photosensitizers

Abstract

A new material consisted of titanium dioxide microparticles photosensitized by organic dyes for generating the photodynamic effect is proposed and tested. The efficiency of using such a material for photopurifying water of organic pollution by daylight illumination is proven.
